Marion checks in with Jarlath live from CPAC - Conservative Political Action Conference - or TPAC as it’s now being dubbed. The Sunday Business Post's Washington Correspondent breaks down the surreal reality of CPAC including the panel discussions, whacky merch and keynote speakers which include Nigel Farrage. Marion also breaks down which Republicans have chosen to steer clear of CPAC this year and which ones have shown up. Jarlath and Marion discuss why Ron DeSantis stayed away and the controversy surrounding Conservative Union Chiarman Matt Shlapp.
Moving on from CPAC, the pair continue last week’s discussion on Alex Murdaugh and the Netflix series Murdaugh Murders: A Southern Scandal. Marion breaks down what’s happened in the trail so far and the two give their takes on the case.

Business Post Washington Correspondent Marion McKeone talks to Jarlath about the murder of a beloved 69-year-old Irish bishop in Los Angeles. Marion talks to Jarlath through Bishop David O’Connell’s community work throughout his life and the man who as arrested on suspicion of the murder.
The war in Ukraine one year on shows no sign of ending. Marion reflects on the 7,000 civilians that have died and the 100,000 military casualties. US President Joe Biden took a trip to Kiev . What is the future for support from the west going forward. Jarlath discusses the ever present threat of nuclear weapons being used in the conflict and the tipping points in the war. Jarlath and Marion then move on to talk about the catastrophic derailment of a train in East Palestine near Ohio.
Jarlath gives his recommendation of the week with Murdaugh Murders: A Southern Scandal on Netflix as Marion looks at the state of the trial so far. Wrapping up the podcast, Jarlath and Marion chat about Emily Kohrs, a member of the Georgia Grand Jury who gave an interview to NBC about decisions on Trumps indictment.

In this weeks podcast, Jarlath and Marion sit down to discuss the unidentified flying objects shot down by the US - including a Chinese spy balloon and a small metallic one. The Businesses Post Washington correspondent talks about the GOP Primary heating up as Ron DeSantis is set to take on Trump and explains whether DeSantis’ chances will be scuppered by other candidates. The pair discuss the news that Fox News stars and staff allegedly expressed contempt for the election fraud claims they were pedalling on air. Over on Patreon, they give this weeks update on George Santos’ latest scandals as it appeared he hid from constituents on a visit to New York. Marion gives Jarlath a breakdown of the shocking statistics from the CDC which show that 30 per cent of teenage girls had seriously considered suicide in the previous year and a further 20 per cent had been sexually assaulted. They chat about John Federman as he has announced he will be treated in hospital for clinical depression. The two discuss the strange methods Democrats are using to fund Republicans in primaries. If you’re training for any big race or just starting out in running, you’re putting new demands on your body. All runners need to compensate for the extra toll this will take through some sort of supplements.
