Declan Murphy says that standing at the bottom of your mountain will not make it any smaller, you have to change something in yourself in order to climb it. This week’s episode brings one of the most harrowing and life-affirming stories of the podcast to date with a top jockey who lived to race again after a catastrophic injury which saw the Racing Post publishing his obituary before his miraculous recovery.
