Actress and writer Amy De Bhrún does not sit back and wait for opportunities to arrive on her doorstep. While attending drama school, Amy started her own theatre company at a time when the feminist message was drowned out by sexist traditions. She speaks about meeting resistance and confronting it head on (13:00). While Amy is best known for her roles in Penny Dreadful and Jason Bourne, her work as a solo theatre performer and writer has also seen her evaluating success on a particularly interesting level with her audiences (1:05:00).
