TV presenter, designer and entrepreneur Brendan Courtney joined Jarlath in a packed Vodafone Comedy Tent at the Body and Soul Festival last weekend to discuss his life and work in fashion and television. Brendan talks about writing Wanderlust which he subsequently sold to 19 countries, hating Off the Rails by the end, feeling like a fraud during the Brendan Courtney show, entering the business world with the Lennon Courtney brand and why he wouldn't host The Late Late Show.
Brendan also discusses working in a fetish club with Rory O'Neill, being on the receiving end of homophobic abuse, experiencing self-doubt and why he feels it's "all over" for traditional media.
